Our new favorite kiwi dalgona whipped matcha green tea. It's creamy, refreshing, and best of all, it tastes great with all kinds of milk. Dalgona coffee is all over the internet recently. It is nothing but whipped coffee. Matcha green tea has less caffeine than regular coffee. So Dalgona matcha is healthier and earthier than dalgona regular coffee.
I added Kiwi fruit powder to it. It has a mild kiwi flavor, but that will not suppress the matcha flavor, instead of that will add a lot of good nutrients to the drink. Kiwi is an extremely nutrient small fruit. It has plenty of health benefits like vitamins, folate, and potassium. It's also a good source of fiber and antioxidants.
Prep Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 15 Mins
Serving: 4 servings
Ingredients:
1 cup heavy whipping cream
4 tablespoons powder sugar or maple syrup
2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder
2 tablespoons Kiwi fruit powder
2 cups of milk of your choice
I brought this organic Kiwi fruit powder from Amazon.com.
Methods:
Take the heavy cream into a mixing bowl and use a hand mixer or a stand mixer to whip until soft foamy. Do not beat too long; otherwise, it will turn into butter.
Add the powdered sugar or maple syrup to the mixing bowl and mix with the heavy whipping cream as well. Taste the sweetness to adjust the powder sugar or maple syrup according to your taste.
Sift the matcha green tea powder in a bowl, then add the kiwi powder and a tablespoon of water, and mix it.
Next, add the matcha and kiwi powder mix to the whipped cream and mix gently.
Place the ice cubes and milk in glasses.
Spoon the whipped matcha on top.
Sprinkle some matcha powder on top to garnish.
Serve with a straw.
Stir well with the straw before drinking. The whipped matcha will slowly mix into the milk and flavor it.
Enjoy the creamy fresh green matcha drink.
